Our company was established in 2010 by Doris "D" McNair-Kiris and Shannon McKelvey, a mother-daughter team from San Antonio, Texas. We began our business by offering decorative handmade wall crosses elegantly embellished with semi-precious stones in four different sizes and are constantly adding new handmade wall art for your home decor.
In 2011, we began designing a new line of handmade Judaica wall decor. The centerpieces for each of these beautiful Stars of David are ordered from Jerusalem. We believe God's Word is clear about the treatment of His chosen people. Genesis 12:3 states, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse ...". We choose to bless our Jewish brothers and sisters with our Judaica line and continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
In 2012, we began adding silk flowers to our decorative wall crosses with semi-precious stones. We love the look of the wall art with the different textures of the stones and silk flowers, as well as the various shapes, and colors that are added with the flowers.
Our distinctive, one-of-a-kind handmade wall crosses and stars of David are the perfect gift for any occasion: anniversaries, baby showers, birthdays, religious occasions, holidays, weddings, for someone special, or for your own personal cross wall or Judaica wall.
Every handmade decorative cross or star we make is a true labor of love. Each wooden frame is individually cut and hand-painted. A decorative cross or star is mounted upon a wooden frame and the entire surface is decorated with a variety of semi-precious and precious gemstones, crystal, tiles, glass block, along with our fun "finds" for a wonderful mosaic of texture, size, and color on each hand made wall cross. The sides are embellished with glass mosaic gems and the finished piece is allowed time to set. The small and medium handmade wall crosses and small stars take about three days to complete while the large and extra-large handmade crosses and the medium and large stars of David take between four to five days to complete. All decorative pieces found on each piece of wall art, the handmade crosses and stars, are individually placed by hand.
Coming up with new and different ideas can be a challenge. We continue to bounce ideas off each other. Expanding and creating our new designs is a true labor of love and inevitably each new handmade cross or star becomes the new favorite. We love the "Wow" factor these handmade crosses and stars bring. The most frequent response to each new piece of wall art is "Wow!"
